Aly Grady is New England born but for the past ten years has enjoyed living and raising her two children in the Indianapolis area. She has first hand knowledge of the racing industry because she is a racing widow. Aly enjoys trying to keep up with her two children and their busy lives, reading books by her favorite authors, and watching IndyCar racing to see if she can spot her husband.
What is a Racing Widow? Well, that's an easy one to answer. A Racing Widow is female (married or has a significant other) who is in the racing industry. The majority of people that work in that industry travel thus leaving their wives, families, partners alone week after week while they go off in pursuit of that all important first win or points that will earn their team the championship.
Some might think we Widow's resent being left behind. Sure some might not adjust to the constant travel schedule. For most though, it's just as exciting for the families at home as the racer's at the track (especially if a win or championship is in sight)!
